fallout 76 picspam

because it had to happen sometime and i've got some very tasty and choice screenshots/photomode images

I ALSO SLID SOME ART IN because i have a Good Character and i like to draw his adventures sometimes

you should be able to click each image and it'll open the full size version in a new tab!

these aren't really "studies" but i dunno what else to call them. draw-overs? i got drunk and drew over the screenshots. i like to think Kingsley carries a camera with him at all times and constantly begs strangers to take selfies with him

gottem

these are the first two photomode pics i ever took ingame and they are SO COLOURFUL. i love that this game actually has colours and not, like, varying shades of grey and brown

i met up with my friend joe ingame and they've been sneaking up behind me ever since. love u joe!! @grahm are you enjoying the view buddy

Bothering Strangers With My Fashion Sense: The Game

more adventures with joe. we found an Alien reference, and joe got stuck in a tree. i like to think my character is a terrible influence on theirs to be a complete idiot but to be honest they're probably both as bad as each other

tfw you get lost and accidentally stumble upon the worst mascots ever, gazing at you with mocking faces through the pouring rain. also: he's dead, jim

no big deal guys just cuddling up with my MOTHMAN BOYFRIEND

i like to think kingsley doesn't really know how to play the tuba that well, but it's his Favourite and everyone just has to deal with him playing the same few notes over and over

jesus christ

(slams hands on table) CULT! CULT! CULT! also someone pointed out that our friend looks like the FUCKING willy wonka remake and now i can't stop thinking about it

some more party shenanigans

it's a pretty game even though i have to turn all my graphics settings down WAY low to even have a barebones framerate

sometimes i do actually do quests. i really, really like the mining/strike themes and how you start out in the beautiful hills of appalachia and then realise you're gonna have to trek into the ominous mordor that is the ash heap and its underground fiery hell. i have a lot of feelings about that and about the way the strike stuff is handled.

(interesting personal note: my granddad (and mother, and their family) lived through the welsh/british miner's strikes. it's interesting to see these things touched upon ingame with stuff like coal lung being mentioned by a child's diary note, and the handling of whether or not families chose to keep working or go on strike and what that meant for their families. i just think that's really cool, and some of it really rings true even if it's a fictional history-muddle in the Future 50s where automation is the biggest problem and not a garbage prime minister. the game has a boatload of issues but imho its focus on/exploration of coal mining themes is not one of them)

ok the rest is all fullsize because it's art

thank you for reading!!
